By using our site, placing an order or otherwise dealing with us, you consent to the processing of your personal information as described here. This policy works alongside our Terms of Service.

• Taxidermy SA staff and authorised contractors fulfilling your order.
• Courier, freight and crating partners used to complete deliveries.
• PayFast (our payment gateway), and banks where needed to verify direct EFT payments.
• Permitting and conservation authorities where documentation for a specific piece requires it.
• Form and email service providers used to receive website enquiries and order requests.
• IT, hosting and customer-service providers under confidentiality.
• Law enforcement and regulators where legally required.
• Affiliates in a merger, acquisition or restructuring.

We do not sell your personal information.

We apply technical and organisational measures to guard against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. Where our tech providers are based outside South Africa, your information may be processed offshore under equivalent safeguards. We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law (typically up to seven years for tax records, and permit-related records for the periods conservation legislation requires).

Account passwords must be at least 8 characters. Use a strong, unique password and notify us immediately if you suspect misuse.

• Request deletion where no legal retention rule applies.

We respond to access requests within 21 days. Identity verification may be required. Some refusals are permitted under PAIA; some records must be retained for legal periods.
